Raped at 10 year old,
the father of the suspect commits suicide
Sunday on September 9th 2001! A double drama occurred in this pass weekend whereas a 10 year old young girl was the victim of a rape and that the father of the supposed attacker gave himself death, not being able to support the intrigues of his son. Who more is, the attacker itself would have tried to commit suicide while wanting to hang itself from a bridge. Patrick Bachand, a 23 years old student of Trois-Rivières, would have indeed tested remorse and would have liked to finish some quickly with the life. The fast intervention of the police officers however prevented the young man from making the irrevocable one. But the affair had dramatic consequences on the family of the accused. After been advise of the gestures of his son, the father of Patrick Bachand did not support and had committed suicide by drawing a bullet in the head.
